Tickets are now on sale for Britten Sinfonia’s 2016-17 series of concerts in Norwich. Britten Sinfonia’s 2016-17 season promises a huge array of music, presented in surprising and illuminating combinations.
To start, Britten Sinfonia are pleased to join Harry Christophers and acclaimed choral group, The Sixteen in a programme that features James MacMillan’s new Stabat Mater. Regular collaborator and audience favourite Mark Padmore joins Britten Sinfonia for an Easter performance of Bach’s St John Passion. In May 2017 Britten Sinfonia teams up with the Norfolk and Norwich Festival to present a concert centred on the work and influence of Beethoven, conducted by one of the most celebrated conductor/composers working today, Thomas Adès. Alongside a return to Norwich of our Family Picture Book concerts and our ever-popular At Lunch series the 2016-17 season promises to be a captivating season of concerts.
All concerts will take place at St Andrew’s Hall.
