Britten Sinfonia are thrilled to be taking part in Sound Unbound 2017, the Barbican Classical Weekender. Tickets are now on sale for this exciting musical takeover of the Barbican Centre. The weekend will see over sixty sessions taking place with new commissions, classical music and film soundtracks all showcasing the latest composing and performing talent of today.
Britten Sinfonia will be teaming up with piano virtuoso Chilly Gonzales and conductor Jules Buckley for what is bound to be an entertaining Saturday night. Other highlights include Iestyn Davies, London Symphony Orchestra: The Music of John Williams, BBC Symphony Orchestra: The Firebird – Symphonic Cinema, Academy of Ancient Music, Boiler Room’s Pit Sessions and Silent Opera in the Conservatory.
