Today we announce our 2017-18 series of concerts in Norwich, which also marks our 25th anniversary season.
Our new season features three evening concerts alongside four concerts as part of our award-winning At Lunch series. As ever, there’s an exciting mix of music and collaborations with some of the world’s finest musicians, featuring symphonic masterpieces, contemporary classics, brand new works and jazz-inspired rhapsodies.
• Sir Mark Elder conducts Brahms’s First Symphony alongside glorious music by Mahler and Finzi at St Andrew’s Hall.
• American pianist Jeremy Denk returns to St Andrew’s Hall for jazz and dance inspired music including Gershwin’s thrilling Rhapsody in Blue and Stravinsky’s Concerto for piano and winds.
• As part of Norfolk & Norwich Festival 2018, conductor/composer Thomas Adès continues his Beethoven symphony cycle with Beethoven’s iconic Fifth Symphony alongside the poignant Fourth at Norwich Theatre Royal.
