Tickets go on sale today (Tue 22 August 2017) for our 2017-18 At Lunch series at Cambridge’s West Road Concert Hall. Each of the three concerts in the series features a new work, co-commissioned by Britten Sinfonia and Wigmore Hall, alongside some of the finest chamber music, performed by the orchestra’s acclaimed prinicipal players.
At Lunch One features new works by Nik Bärtsch and the winnner of OPUS2017 alongside music by Sarah Kirkland Snider and Judd Greenstein. At Lunch Two and At Lunch Three features new works by Leo Chadburn and Caroline Shaw. Each concert is followed by a post-concert talk in which the composer discusses their new work.
Britten Sinfonia is a Cambridge University ensemble-in-association. Alongside a range of Creative Learning projects the orchestra performs frequently in Cambridge and in the coming weeks will be announcing details of the Britten Sinfonia Academy At Lunch performance and a family concert at Cambridge’s Corn Exchange.
