Beethoven’s Symphony, No. 6 and Pastoral Symphony, Brett Dean’s orchestral piece written in response to it and the first UK performance of a work by Bushra El-Turk.

Gregor A. Mayrhofer conducts Britten Sinfonia in Pastoral Symphony, Brett Dean’s highly acclaimed piece written in response to Beethoven Symphony no.6 which they also perform. Percussionist Vivi Vassileva joins with an amazing range of percussion instruments made from recycled rubbish to give the first UK performance of featured composer Bushra El-Turk’s new concerto for percussion and orchestra.
