In the Surrey Hills, Charterhouse pupils play alongside Britten Sinfonia and violin soloist Alexander Sitkovetsky, directed by leader Thomas Gould, in the St Paul Suite and Fantasia on a Theme of Thomas Tallis, and the school’s Chapel Choir performs in The Old 100th, An Oxford Elegy and Tallis anthems, conducted by Charterhouse Director of Music Mark Shepherd.
Pre-concert reception includes an exhibition of Ralph Vaughan Williams’ Artefacts and a talk by Dr Russell Millard, Head of Academic Music at Charterhouse School.
