ABOUT THE CONCERTS
Britten Sinfonia is thrilled to be able to perform to a live audience at Saffron Hall in their first socially distanced Pilot Event. A quartet of Britten Sinfonia’s principal musicians will play two 50 minute concerts on Friday 21 August to audiences in the Essex venue.
The concerts will last approximately 50 mins with no interval.
For these events, the entire Hall will be ‘flat floored’. This means the seating bank will be removed and the orchestra pit will be covered. Each household/bubble will be assigned a table (max 4 per table). All tables will be socially distanced at a minimum of 2 metres. There will be a built-up stage area where the performance will take place. Saffron Hall is currently experimenting with various table plans and at this time will not be able to confirm where your table will be in relation to the stage.
KEEPING YOU SAFE
The safety of our audience, volunteers and staff is our number one priority. During this Pilot Event Saffron Hall will be testing a number of procedures and will be adhering to government guidelines at all times. These measures include requesting staff and audiences to wear face coverings whilst getting to and from their seats, contactless ticketing, significantly reduced capacity, staggered entry times and a contactless bar service with pre-ordered drinks delivered to tables. Full details are available via the form (link on the right). Please note that as Saffron Hall is testing some procedures for the first time, they may need to change times last minute or waiting times may be increased. Saffron Hall will also be asking all guests to respond to a digital survey which will be sent out via email after the concert.
All tables are priced at £30 and can accommodate a maximum of 4 people. Due to a limited capacity Saffron Hall is only able to offer one table per household/bubble.
Tickets for this event are only available by filling in an expression of interest form via the ‘buy’ link on the right and are not available online or over the phone. Tickets will be allocated on a first come first served basis and Saffron Hall’s team will call successful bookers to confirm their bookings and take payment over the next 48 hours. If you have not heard from Saffron Hall by 5pm on Wednesday 19 August, please assume you have been unsuccessful in securing a booking.
Please note it will not be possible to collect tickets from the box office. Therefore, you or someone in your party will need to have a smart phone or access to a printer to utilise our ‘print at home’ ticket option.
