Summary

Can you hear art? Can you paint music? Work with a visual artist, and Britten Sinfonia musicians to delve into the world of graphic scores – this isn’t your ordinary music making!

Join composer Sylvia Lim and musicians from Britten Sinfonia to discover the point where music and art collide – the world of graphic scores. Come and find out more about composers who write down their music in this way, as well as having a go yourself. You’ll have the chance to create your own graphic scores that represent the sounds you hear, as well as hearing how the musicians might interpret your artwork. Perfect for anyone interested in the incredible relationships between music and visual art.

No art or musical experience necessary. Have a go at creating a visual sound world, we can’t wait to hear what you create!
