Summary

Britten Sinfonia’s Musical Memories are informal concerts designed for people living with long-term health conditions such as Dementia and Parkinson’s and their carers.

Join us in Wells-next-the-Sea for an hour of familiar classics, popular songs and folk tunes – including many you’ll recognise from films, TV and radio, performed by flautist Thomas Hancox and harpist Rachel Wick from Britten Sinfonia, the East of England’s professional orchestra.

There’ll be plenty of fun, with musical introductions, sing-alongs and everyone invited to join the musicians for free tea and cake after the performance.

Everyone is welcome. We are happy for you to chat, move around to the music and the hall will be well-lit, rather than dimming the auditorium lights. Wells Maltings is a fully accessible venue.
