Three new chamber concertos by composers whose careers are just taking off, performed by Britten Sinfonia and soloists Rakhi Singh (violin), Alexandra Achillea Pouta (mezzo soprano), and Imogen Whitehead (trumpet).

Hear new concertos written for the finale of Britten Sinfonia’s headline composer development scheme, performed by Britten Sinfonia with Britten Sinfonia Principal Trumpet Imogen Whitehead, Greek mezzo soprano Alexandra Achillea Pouta, and violinist Rakhi Singh. The composers have received advice and mentoring from Programme Directors Dani Howard and Michael Zev Gordon.

Britten Sinfonia is renowned for its commissioning of outstanding composers and nurturing of the next generation. It has helped launch the careers of many composers over its 32-year history.
