MARCUS BROOME

Second Violin

A man playing the violin

Marcus studied the violin at the Dartington College of Arts and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama before being appointed a sub-principal violin with the BBC Concert Orchestra.

His deep love of chamber music has led him to perform with various ensembles.

Marcus is particularly proud of his performances with the McCapra String Quartet and his performances of much of the repertoire for clarinet and strings with the clarinettist Peter Furniss.

He is engaged in a project with other musicians from north London to raise money for the Samaritans. Marcus lives with the artist Gabriela Schutz.
