Shoël leads the marketing and communications work of Britten Sinfonia, working with venues and partners to bring the orchestra’s work to as many people as possible.
Before arriving at Britten Sinfonia in 2022, Shoël spent 10 years as Head of Communications at Aldeburgh Music / Snape Maltings / Britten Pears Arts on the Suffolk coast. Before that he was Marketing and Audience Development Manager at the UK’s national organisation for new music, Sound and Music.
Outside work, Shoël spends time losing tennis matches to people twice his age and running English classes for Ukrainian refugees on the Suffolk coast.
